Mike Blake is the Chairman of the Board for Blake International USA Rigs, LLC. He was the founder of fourteen oilfield companies in the Gulf of Mexico, including Blake Drilling & Workover (1985) and Blake Offshore (2002). Previously, he was President of AWI and Falcon Drilling. Mike holds a bachelor's degree in business and has over twenty-six years of experience in the oil industry.
Ray Rebstock joined Blake International USA Rigs, LLC on May 23, 2008. He was previously with Pride Offshore Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Pride International, Inc. of Houston, Texas. He has a solid and proven background in platform rig operations (20 plus years) for offshore drilling and workover rigs in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico.
Prior to Pride Offshore Inc. he worked for Grace Offshore Company- Booker Division, and Offshore Rigs, LLC, which purchased the platform drilling and workover units from W.R. Grace and subsequently sold them to Pride International, Inc. Ray studied at Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Lousiana, attending under a football scholarship.
Daniel Cheramie joined Blake International USA Rigs, LLC on May 23, 2008 as Operations Manager, and effective November 12, 2008, was promoted to Sr. Operations Manager. He was previously the Gulf of Mexico Platform Rig Manager for Pride Offshore Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Pride International, Inc. of Houston, Texas. He has a solid and proven background in Operations and Construction experience (39 years) for offshore drilling and workover rigs in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico.
Prior to Pride Offshore Inc. he was the Rig Manager for Offshore Rigs, LLC, Grace Offshore Company- Booker Division and Booker Drilling. He has successfully constructed and installed self erecting platform rigs designed specifically for deepwater development projects for Shell Ram Powell and many shelf locations for Shell, ExxonMobil, Apache, Mariner, Dominion Resources, Energy XXI, etc... Daniel has extensive supervisory and professional training experience.
Ronnie J. Haydel has 28 years of experience in the offshore drilling industry. He began his career with Services Equipment and Engineering as Director of Safety and Training.
In 1990 he joined Grace Offshore Company- Booker Division as HS&E Manager, which became Pride Offshore Inc. in 1994. Ronnie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Registered Environmental Professional (REP), and a Certified Environmental Manager (CEM).
